MK-600 cooling system is designed for air cooling in underground mining excavations. MK-600 system is intended for operation in underground excavations of methane and non-methane mines with methane and/or coal dust explosion hazard
Cooling system consists of cooling supply and venting parts.
Cooling part:
- MK-600 machine assembly -I ncludes electric motor with 2 Carrier compressors and 2 condensers, cooling power 600kW
- MK-300 evaporator (2 pcs) – works with machine assembly in order of cooling of air flow, cooling power 2 x 3 0kW
- US-01IMK control system – controls system operation and provides data transmission system, power supply 42V
- PI inductive flow meter – controls the flow of cooling water
- freon hoses – connects machine refrigeration installation of assembly machine and evaporator
Supply part:
- WSOCAflameproof starters -power supply of compressor motor (200kW), 2x fan motor (37kW), control unit (42V)
- PSU-4 control panel -includes: start/stop buttons, emergency switch and switches for mode change
Venting part:
- electric ventube fan – forces air flow trough evaporator
Technical data:
- Cooling power: 600 kW
- Cooling method: direct – air cooling / indirect – production of chilled water
- Cooling water consumption ~ 2×19 (for water temp 27°C) / ~ 2×25 (for water temp 30°C) [cubic meters /h]
